Priyanka Babbar has been an educator for more than fifteen years. She has successfully completed the International Summer School Program in Physical Theatre from London International School of Performing Arts (LISPA, Berlin) in 2017 and is a Certified Drama Facilitator from Theatre Professionals.
She is the Artistic Director of Small Tales Storytelling & Young Thespians Theatre Programme and has conducted over three hundred storytelling and workshop sessions across Mumbai, Pune, Chandigarh, Nasik, Coimbatore, Bangalore, and Singapore for various organizations and schools like the Salaam Bombay Foundation, NCPA SummerFiesta, Kahani Karnival, American School of Bombay, Aditya Birla World Academy, Qualcomm, KPMG India, Isha Foundation, Stamford American School- Singapore to name a few.
She has trained over two hundred teachers in ‘The Art of Storytelling’ and ‘Using Drama for Learning’ in Mumbai, Pune, Chandigarh, and Bangalore. She has also choreographed and directed over thirty theatre productions for schools in Mumbai.
She is also a senior Drama faculty member at Hill Spring International School in Mumbai. Having taught various subjects during her teaching career, she believes that children learn best through stories and drama. Through her unique methodology, by incorporating elements of theatre, art, music, and movement, she engages all kinds of learners and encourages the children to explore their imagination. Thus, paving the way for them to become empathetic, open-minded thinkers, and problem solvers.
Besides teaching, she has been an active member of theatre groups in various facets and has performed at festivals in India and around the world.
